Jordan Haerter Fishing Tournament

On September 22, 2012 PALS joined Jordan's Initiative, a Sag Harbor, NY based non-profit (501c3) foundation providing aid and support to currently deployed military personnel, returned veterans, and their families. The foundation was started by Christian Haerter and Michelle Severance in order to honor the sacrifice of Navy Cross recipient LCpl Jordan C. Haerter, USMC who was killed in an act of valor in Ramadi,Iraq on April 22nd 2008, for a day of family fishing, fun, fundraising, music, free food for registered fishermen, laughter, raffles, prizes, and surprises in the most beautiful village on Eastern Long Island.

PALS 1,000th Flight

In July 2012, PALS reached a milestone by launching its 1,000th flight. Thanks to help from thousands of people, PALS continues to fly people around the country and can't wait until we reach flight 2,000 and beyond.

Wounded Warriors Project - Soldier Ride 7/20/2011

July 20, 2011 - PALS collaborated with Veterans Airlift Command to help 18 Wounded Warriors fly from Walter Reed to Long Island. These heroes were here to participate in the Wounded Warrior Project's "Soldier's Ride" . Special thanks to volunteer pilot, Don Catalano for helping VAC to coordinate the efforts and to the other pilots who flew that day; David Windmiller, John Campbell, Fred Bashara, Gary Illiano, Jerry Cannarozzo and Joe Howley.
