Portable Reduced Oxygen Training Enclosure (PROTE) hosted by PALS

Experience the FAA’s Portable Reduced Oxygen Training Enclosure (PROTE) at Legacy Aviation at KPNE from May 15th through the 18th! PALS invites you to come fly the PROTE, learn more about your body’s unique reaction to reduced oxygen and thereby become a safer pilot. Don’t miss this great opportunity for pilots to learn about the effects of altitude. You never know when the knowledge you gain could make all the difference in the world.

All participants must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid pilot certificate and current FAA Class I, II, or III medical. The FAA will NOT accept BasicMed for this training.

30 minute training blocks are available throughout the day during the time frames below and include a short intro, hands-on guided training inside the PROTE, and a short debrief.

Wednesday, May 15 from 9:00AM – 4:30PM
Thursday, May 16 from  9:00AM – 4:30PM
Friday, May 17 from 9:00AM – 4:30PM
